FileOpen Systems provides plugins for Adobe Acrobat™ and Adobe Reader™. These plugins perform decryption of PDF files encrypted using our fileOpen software. The plugins are available for several platforms and may be installed in a variety of ways, listed below.
Are you unsure whether fileOpen are installed or not? Check to see if you have FileOpen.
To get fileOpen choose your platform and install one of the files bellow:
Windows:
FileOpenInstaller.exe
System Requirements:
Windows 98, 2000, XP, Vista
Adobe Reader/Adobe Acrobat 4.0 or later
There is also a FileOpenInstaller.msi available
Apple:
FileOpenInstaller.dmg
System Requirements:
Mac OS X
Adobe Reader/Adobe Acrobat 5.0 or later
Linux:
FileOpenInstaller.tar.gz
System Requirements:
Linux Kernel 1.4 or later
Adobe Reader/Adobe Acrobat 7.0 or later
If you do not have sufficient rights to install FileOpen on your computer, you will need to contact your IT department.
