Norsk Elektroteknisk Komite (NEK) is pleased to invite the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) to hold it's 76th IEC General Meeting in Oslo, Norway. The meetings will take place respectively at Radisson BLU Scandinavia Hotel and at the Oslo Congress Centre. Please join us to discuss technical and management issues, exchange ideas and strengthen global cooperation.

Oslo offers plenty of attractions from medieval architecture to modern amusements, large shopping malls and a wide range of restaurants serving the most delicious cuisines. The most famous attractions are Akershus Castle and Fortress, Oslo City Hall, the Nobel Peace Centre, Oslo Opera House, The Viking Ships, Vigeland Sculpture Park and Holmenkollen Ski Jump.

Oslo is located at the end of Oslo fjord and is therefore surrounded by green and wooded hills. The combination of IEC General Meeting 2012, city life and easy access to outdoor activities makes Oslo to an unique destination.
