Royal presence at the Opening Ceremony
The IEC Plemary Meeting in Norway in 1930 was arranged under the protection of HM King Haakon VII.

The 76th IEC General Meeting in Oslo will be arranged under the protection of His Majesty King Harald V, the grandson of the late King Haakon VII.

HM King Harald V will be present during the Opening Ceremony on Monday 1 October.

The first 200 registrations are now in place
Less than 6 week after the opening of the registration, the first 193 delegates and 27 accompanying persons are registered. They are coming from 40 different countries, including 6 affiliate countries. The three TCs on top are TC 64 (22), TC 23 (21) and TC 31 (17).

150 days left to the opening
The interest for the IEC GM 2012 in Oslo is increasing. We have had almost 3000 visitors on the website, and the number of daily visits have increased significantly after the registration started 10 April. So far more than 130 delegates and accompanying persons from 29 countries, covering all parts of the world, have registered.

The registration has now started
The online registration for the 76th IEC General Meeting 2012 in Oslo has now started (Se AC/10/2012). Participation in the meeting is open to IEC delegates registred in the IEC Expert Management System (EMS) and to representatives of invited international organisations.
