Standard Online is the principal supplier of standards and related products to all of Norwegian society, companies and organizations, public administration, schools, universities and individuals. We aim to satisfy our customers' need for standards, as well as provide related products designed to best help our customers utilize the standards. Our goal is to offer the best, most relevant and user friendly products and services.
Standard Online is the sales company and commercial customer contact of Norwegian standardization. The company is owned by Standards Norway (SN) and The Norwegian Electrotechnical Committee (NEK). The company is to contribute substantially to the financing of standardization work in the owner companies. Standard Online has 27 members of staff, and our offices are situated at Lilleaker in Oslo.
Our products and services
The website standard.no is a “one stop shop” for standards. Our subscription service ensures quality and security for our customers. It is also easy to use. When you need a new standard, it will be made available in your subscription immediately. You can leave your standard archive to us, and reap financial rewards from not having to update the standards yourself. We have standards within most areas, including, but not limited to best sellers within construction codes, contracts, quality and environmental standards and electrotechnical standards.

Standard Online has been certified in accordance with NS-EN ISO 9001. Since 2017 are we also certified in accordance with NS-EN ISO 14001 and NS-ISO 45001.

Standard Online is qualified in accordance with “Achilles Joint Qualification System for suppliers to the oil industry in Norway and Denmark” and in TransQ.
