If you are a student and need access to standards, we can offer you a student subscription at a favorable price. With this subscription, you get read only access to over 50 000 standards in addition to discounts on webprints.
Student subscription
A student Subscription gives you read only access to NS, IEC, ISO and NEK standards, which constitutes more than 50 000 valid standards.
Price
A student subscription costs NOK 500, - incl. tax for 12 months. The subscription is valid from July 1st to July 1st the following year. From January 1st, the price will be reduced by 30 % for access until July 1st.
How does it work?
After you have purchased a subscription, you can find the standards you require on our website. You can also mark your favorites for easier access next time you visit your subscription. NB! Remember to be logged in.
This is an offer to students only, and you must have a valid e-mail address issued from your educational institution to purchase this service. Therefore, be sure to select "Student" on top of the registration page when registering as a new customer. NB! You must be registered and logged in as a student user before you can purchase the student subscription.
After you have purchased the student subscription, you will automatically have access to read standards from NS, IEC, ISO and NEK online. The standards are not gathered on a subscription page, but will be available for you to read in the webshop when you are logged in. Use the search box on our website to find the standards you are looking for and click on "View standard" to read it. You can also mark your favorites by using the star symbol. This way you will have your favorites easily accessible under the menu tab "Subscriptions" when you are logged in.
Prices for webprint or printed and bound copies
Webprint (print yourself) or ordering a printed and bound copy costs extra, but these are discounted in your student subscription. The discount is 50 % on the listed price in the webshop for each printed and bound copy and 70 % if you choose "Webprint". These discounts only apply to products with prefix NS and NEK.
To purchase the student subscription, you must first register as a student
Create a new account at the registration page. Firstly select “Student” at the top of the registration form. After registering the student account, you can buy the student subscription. If you already have a student account, you must be logged in to purchase this product/subscription.
