Course description
This elearning course introduces environmental management system in accordance with NS-EN ISO 14001. The course is divided into courses and lessons that take you through the standard using examples from companies certified in accordance with NS-EN ISO 14001.
During the course you will have to answer some questions, and the course ends with a knowledge test. Once passed, you can print a Certificate of Training. The course can be repeated several times, and you can retake the test if you do not pass the first time.

The course gives you a basic introduction an enables you to establish, implement and maintain a management system for the environment in accordance with NS-EN ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental management systems — Requirements with guidance for use
You will also gain knowledge to hold role(s) as environmental manager, process owner or other related functions that are part of the environmental management system.
Hvem er kurset for?
The course is relevant for managers, environmental managers, process owners or other related functions that are part of the management system for the environment. The course satisfies the requirements of NS-EN ISO 14001 for basic competence about the standard.
There is no requirement for prior knowledge for this course.
This e-learning course provides basic knowledge of ISO 14001, and is a preliminary course to the classroom course: "Kurs i NS-EN ISO 14001 Ledelsessystemer for miljø".

Estimated time use is approx. 3 hours but can be completed at your own pace. The course is available for six months from first login.
