ISO/TC 59 Plenary Week
Berlin, Germany, from 4 to 11 October 2016
ISO/TC 59 has its plenary week every two years. In 2016 we are looking forward to gathering the majority of our subcommittees and working groups for eight days of meetings in Berlin, Germany.
Seven of our nine subcommittees are coming together with their working groups in the days leading up to the ISO/TC 59 plenary meeting. It is our hope that this will become a memorable week for everyone involved and that we will see good progress in our standards development.
ISO/TC 59 Buildings and civil engineering works
ISO/TC 59 contributes to sustainable development by addressing the quality and performance of buildings and describing how these issues can be incorporated in the life-cycle of the built environment.
ISO/TC 59 develops ISO standards which can be used as frameworks for methods and a foundation for other standards.
